Reese Witherspoon recovering at home after hit by car by 84-year-old woman. The accident happened while jogging in Santa Monica - Los Angles on Wednesday morning. Witherspoon was taken to Santa Monica hospital around 11am and treated for minor injuries.
Police have confirmed the story and that the car was going about 20 miles per hour.
Santa Monica Police spokesman Sgt. Richard Lewis said Witherspoon, "suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical treatment." according to Nbclosangeles.com
Witherspoon's spokesman told People.com exposed 35-year-old actress was luckily not seriously injured and can immediately go home after getting treatment from the doctor. "Right now he is resting at home," said Reese Witherspoon's spokesman.
